The principals formed Black Knight in 2015 after successful careers in portfolio management, institutional trading, and investment banking.  Two of our three founders are graduates of West Point, known as the “Black Knights of the Hudson.”  We chose our name to convey our firm’s values, which are influenced  by the high standards of this esteemed institution.

We conduct ourselves and our firm by the words of the West Point Cadet Prayer, "Make us to choose the harder right instead of the easier wrong, and never to be content with a half truth when the whole truth can be won."
